The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within a 280-foot radius of bridge launched fireworks over Ellicott River in Tonawanda, NY. The safety zone is necessary to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by a fireworks display. Entry of vessels or persons into this safety zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Buffalo or his designated representative.
