Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Computing (STEM+C) Competition Team Grant Program; eligibility for grants. Clarifies the eligibility requirements for receiving a grant pursuant to the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Computing (STEM+C) Competition Team Grant Program (the Program) by providing that the purpose of the Program is to provide grants for use in either establishing new STEM+C competition teams or supporting existing STEM+C competition teams that meet the qualifying criteria established by the Board of Education. The bill directs the Board of Education to ensure that its guidelines for the general requirements of qualifying for a grant include specific criteria for qualifying for a grant for (i) the establishment of a new STEM+C competition team through the Program and (ii) the support of an existing STEM+C competition team that was established outside of or prior to application for a grant through the Program.
