General Assembly; expend or authorize expenditure of public funds for Georgia Property Tax Fairness Fund; provide by law - CA

A RESOLUTION proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Georgia so as to provide that the General Assembly shall be authorized to provide by law to expend or authorize the expenditure of public funds for the Georgia Property Tax Fairness Fund without the need for benefit in return; to increase the cap on benefits granted pursuant to the Homeowner's Incentive Adjustment clause; to authorize the General Assembly to provide by general law for local grant and adjustment programs; to provide for related matters; to provide for submission of this amendment for ratification or rejection; and for other purposes.
