Insurance; establish State Oversight Board within office of the Commissioner of Insurance

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to insurance, so as to establish the State Oversight Board within the office of the Commissioner of Insurance; to provide for the membership, duties, and powers of such board; to provide for rules and regulations; to provide for insurer liability for certain delays or denials in healthcare coverage; to provide for a private cause of action; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
