Housing purchases: moratorium.

Existing law generally provides for the acquisition of property, including the transfer of real property. Existing law requires an estate in real property, except as specified, to be transferred only by operation of law, or by an instrument in writing, as specified. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to a moratorium on housing purchases.
