Existing law establishes the State Park and Recreation Commission consisting partly of 9 members appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate. Existing law specifies that each appointed member serves a 4-year term, except as provided. Existing law requires the commission to perform certain actions regarding the state park system. Existing law provides that, in case of a vacancy, the appointment to fill the vacancy is for the remainder of the unexpired term. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this latter provision.
