Existing law, the California Credit Union Law, provides for the licensure and regulation of credit unions by the Commissioner of Financial Protection and Innovation, and authorizes the commissioner to investigate into the affairs and examine the books, accounts, records, files, and any office used in the business of every credit union. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.
