Existing law requires the State Air Resources Board to adopt and implement a regulation for a Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program for nongasoline heavy-duty onroad motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 14,000 pounds, as provided. Existing law requires the state board to provide 2 biennial reports on its internet website within 4 years following the full implementation of the program. This bill would instead require, within 4 years following the full implementation of the program, but not later than December 31, 2026, the state board to provide the first of the 2 biennial reports on its internet website.
