Existing law requires, upon request of the State Board of Equalization, a person to submit a property statement pertaining to any state-assessed property owned, claimed, possessed, used, controlled, or managed by that person in the form prescribed by the board and requires, if the board's request is mailed before a certain lien date, the property statement to be filed with the board by March 1 and in the level of detail prescribed by the board. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
